PURCHASING POLICY

At Ramada Resort Bodrum, our purchasing practices are guided by responsibility, sustainability, and quality. Unless there is a significantly better alternative in terms of price or quality, we are committed to the following principles:

• When purchasing electrical devices, we prioritize equipment classified between A and D energy efficiency levels, ensuring reduced electricity consumption.

• In all procurement activities, we prioritize local suppliers. However, if there are significant differences in price or quality, non-local suppliers may be considered.

• We are committed to purchasing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products, ensuring all items comply with quality standards. Upon first purchase, suppliers are required to provide relevant quality, license, and compliance certificates.

• We give preference to concentrated, large-scale, recyclable, and minimal-waste products packaged in sustainable materials.

• The purchase of any product derived from endangered species or prohibited wildlife is strictly forbidden.

• For climate control systems, we do not purchase devices using harmful gases such as R22. Instead, we prioritize A, B, or C class energy-efficient systems that utilize eco-friendly refrigerants.

• Equipment containing R22 is scheduled for replacement in line with legal deadlines and depreciation timelines.

• Products that are sustainably produced or sourced, such as those certified with Fair Trade, Organic, FSC, or MSC, are preferred in all purchasing decisions.
